NEW YORK  STEAK WITH  CHIMICHURRI

Ingredients 

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ cup fresh basil
  • ¾ cup cilantro
  • ¾ cup parsley
  • 4 anchovy fillets
  • 1 small shallot
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • A pinch crushed red peppe
  • CHIMICHURRI SAUCE

STEAK

  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 New York strip steak (16 ounces)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. COMBINE all of the chimichurri sauce ingredients in a blender, and blend until your desired consistency is reached.
  2. Preheat .
  3. RUB vegetable oil onto the steak and season with salt and pepper.
  4. PLACE the steak into the preheated. Set 390°F (185°C)adjust time to 6 minutes (this will come out medium rare)
  5. ALLOW the steak to rest for 5 minutes when done. Then slice, top with chimichurri sauce, and serve.
