NEW YORK STEAK WITH CHIMICHURRI

Ingredients
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ¾ cup fresh basil
- ¾ cup cilantro
- ¾ cup parsley
- 4 anchovy fillets
- 1 small shallot
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 lemon, juiced
- A pinch crushed red peppe
- CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
STEAK
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 New York strip steak (16 ounces)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- COMBINE all of the chimichurri sauce ingredients in a blender, and blend until your desired consistency is reached.
- Preheat .
- RUB vegetable oil onto the steak and season with salt and pepper.
- PLACE the steak into the preheated. Set 390°F (185°C)adjust time to 6 minutes (this will come out medium rare)
- ALLOW the steak to rest for 5 minutes when done. Then slice, top with chimichurri sauce, and serve.
